Naijatastic is a single name derived from the combination of two-word meanings. "Naija" is the slang name for a Nigerian or the country, Nigeria. "-tastic" is used in forming adjectives denoting someone or something regarded as an extremely good example of their particular type, e.g Fantastic, Poptastic, Naijatastic. Naijatastic is a digital entertainment platform created to showcase and explore Nigerian / African Music, DJ Mixes, Podcasts, Soundtracks, Radio Shows for listeners, artists, curators, and brands.
Naijatastic aims to promote awareness and maintain exposure for African music and podcasts by African artistes in Africa or the diaspora. Naijatastic supports the Afro music movement, and help artists to cultivate their own fan communities by growing their audience. We built the infrastructure to allow creators (musicians, songwriters, podcasters, music producers, record labels, etc) to use our platform for maintaining the Afro culture. We currently have more than 4,000 registered independent artists on the platform with more than 6,000 original tracks (and counting) uploaded already.
