Folarin Falana also known as Falz has astonished his fans by releasing his highly anticipated studio album Bahd. The award-winning Nigerian rapper is known for his rap style, but he recently released a 12-track album that is not in the rap genre. Falz described the album, which is his fifth studio album, as thrilling.
Falz reemerges with a 12-track body of work dubbed Bahd, after featuring and leading a couple of hits this year. Falz, the man in charge of Bahd Guys Entertainment, has finally released his new album, ‘Bahd,’ as aforementioned. The album, which is named after his record label, will be the rapper’s 6th and features 12 amazing songs.
Bahd is a good addition to the rapper’s catalog, and it comes as a direct follow-up to the critically acclaimed ‘Moral Instruction‘ dated 2019. Timaya, BNXN (aka Buju), Chike, Boy Spyce, Tiwa Savage, and a few more make guest appearances on the 32-minute, 12-track album, which was released on Thursday, June 9, 2022.
Falz sings more on BAHD than he typically does, signaling a significant shift away from Afrorap and toward more appealing and creative Afropop and Afrobeats. All of the tracks on BAHD, like those on his prior albums, are deliberate. The sounds are one-of-a-kind, and the mixing and mastering are excellent.

Another Me, Beautiful Sunflower, ALL Night, Knee Down, Parampe, Pull Up, Gentleman, Tender Love, Woman, Roger Milla, and Ice Cream are among the hip-hop and Afro-pop tracks on the album. Falz said his new album offers a portrait of his progress as an artist during a listening party organized by The Listening Room.
“I’ve evolved as an artist.” I’ve upgraded to a newer version. This record is the result of a realm that I haven’t really delved into before. The record is one in which I am emotional, vulnerable, and seductive all at the same time.”
“This is an album where I had to genuinely sing, unlike others where I had to rap,” Falze continued. I’ve reached a point where I’d like to be more creative with my sounds. This is the situation in Bahd’. Sars, Timaya, Dr. Sid, BoySpyce, and others are among the collaborators on the 12-track album. Tobi Bakare, Mr Macaroni, Broda Shaggi, Alex Unusual, and a slew of others were among those who attended the listening session.
Now, let’s take a look at each track individually, particularly those on which he featured other A-list artists, and try to give them a quick review;
1. Another Me
Falz is attempting to sing and rap in the same track and this is amazing! Falz is mostly a rapper, so his decision to sing on a song is a significant one that makes sense, given how wonderful it sounds.
The song’s vocals are as genuine as any male singer’s, and they wonderfully capture the theme: there will never be another Falz D Bahd Guy! “Another Me” is the album’s opener. It’s simple and fitting.
2. Beautiful Sunflower ft. Tiwa Savage
Despite the fact that Tiwa Savage’s music is more R&B than Afrobeats, she still fits in. We know it’ll be a hit as soon as Falz starts singing it. Beautiful Sunflower’s performance and song arrangement are both excellent, as she gave it her all on the track.
3. Knee down ft. Chike
It was a great decision to let Chike begin the song. The hook is absolutely amazing! It’s one of the things that makes this song so appealing. By the time Falz the Bahd Guy takes over, he sounds like Ladipoe from Mavin’s Overdose.
Falz sang on it, rapped on it, and blended it as much as he could, giving it a lot of replay value. Knee Down is a fantastic song that has everything in it. This song is credited to Chike and Falz. It’s a love song, yet the music is delivered so gently and nicely that you’d never think.

4. Woman ft. The Cavemen
We understand that including The Cavemen on an album indicates that you’d love their sound or that you know others who do, but it suddenly looks that including them is a requirement. Regardless, we’ll give this one to Falz and The Cavemen. It does provide some visual imagery, and the Cavemen don’t go excessive with it. However, it sounds amazing till the very end.
5. Inside ft. Timaya, Boy Spyce
Timaya did an excellent job on this track, and it would have been also lovely if Boy Spyce had been the only performer. Because his verse was substantially better than Timaya’s, he would have boosted the song’s prospects of success.
6. Ice Cream Featuring BNXN
What a brilliant way to bring the Bahd Album to a close! After “All Night” and “Gentlemen,” this song comes next. It’s a timeless classic that makes you want to go back and listen to the Bahd Album again and again. Apart from “Gentlemen,” however, “Ice Cream” has the best “Falz-killer” rap talent.
